One of the newest “Must haves” is the chaseboat. But what is a chase boat?
There was a time when a small boat was called a tender and was part of a larger boat. But the chaseboat will rarely be hoisted aboard a mother ship.
The chaseboat was originally a fast open boat that followed large sailing yachts that participated in regattas.
Nowadays, the chaseboat has evolved to follow super yachts to their destination. The current chaseboat has itself become a small super yacht. The well-equipped chaseboat can be used completely independently of the mother ship and function in guest entertainment and hunting scenarios.
Super yacht owners and their families board their chase boat and enjoy it as a day boat that returns to the mothership every night.
